Before my early retirement in 2012, I gained charity experience as CEO of Windsor and Maidenhead CAB,
following two years at Chiltern CAB and a period as Business Development Manager with Groundwork in west London. Prior to 2000, I had over 10 years experience as a change consultant with major clients including NHS Trusts,
defence companies and the Metropolitan Police (details on request) and as a District Audit Police specialist. Projects included
IIP preparation, leading internal management development programmes and working at board level to progress change, plan
for the future and to resolve conflict.
That followed a period as Marketing Director of Manchester Open Learning,
designing and delivering significant outdoor development and distance learning initiatives for clients, including British
Airways at supervisory level, where I authored texts on Change Management and Industrial Relations.
At the same
time I was an assistant Adjunct Professor of Marketing and International Business at Schiller International University in
London where I wrote a number of Open Learning Management texts.
I have an MBA from Cranfield Management School.
